Employee Deductions

We've added new filters to the Employee > Deductions page in Namely Payroll that make it easier than ever to view an employee's deduction information.

OVERVIEW

We've given the Employee Deductions page in Namely Payroll a makeover, providing the same options as on our recently updated Company Deductions page to sort, filter, and search an employee's deductions.

By default, the Employee Deductions page will be filtered to only show active deductions. For each deduction, the table will display:

  • The deduction's name, code, and start date and end date (if applicable)

  • The deduction's status (active or inactive)

  • 'The deduction's type

  • The deduction's taxability (pre or post tax)

  • What portions of the deduction the employee and employer contribute

  • Who last modified the deduction

Click on each column header to re-sort it (except for Employee and Employer Amount).

FILTERS AND SEARCH

You can apply filters to the Employee Deductions page to view deductions by:

  • Category (Benefits, Garnishments, Miscellaneous, or Retirement)

  • Status (Active or Inactive)

  • Taxability (Pre or Post Tax)
